My client provides specialized maintenance and repair services to shipowners, offshore installations, and marine construction projects. They are looking for a leader for the business unit overseeing the EMEA region. They have grown year on year, organically and through acquisition. This is a unique opportunity for someone with a technical skillset, a customer focus, and good business acumen.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership to the overall business unit
- Implement and direct strategies to grow revenue and profit
- Ensure all field operations are performed safely and efficiently
- Attract, and retain top notch talent
- Expand and maintain relationships with key clients in the region
- Will have P&L responsibility for the business unit
Desired Qualities and Experience
- University degree in Engineering or related field
- Experience leading a marine service organization
- Experience leading a team of technicians and craftsmen
- Dedicated and motivated leadership – lead from the front
- Strong customer focus – a can do attitude with a focus on safety
- Knowledge of ship repair and ship building practices
- Prior experience managing P&L responsibilities, including budgeting and planning
- Must have the right to live and work in the EU
