General Manager
General Manager – Marine Terminal
We are recruiting for an experienced marine terminal General Manager. Ideally you’ll have dry bulk and break bulk experience.
Summary of responsibilities:
- Lead the day to day operations and business activities
- Manage and ensure compliance with corporate goals and policies
- Lead and promote an environmentally friendly and safe culture
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA, USCG, EPA, and other regulatory bodies
- Manage all processing and material handling activities
- Optimize cargo handling and storage activities
- Actively manage activities with a goal to improve the P&L
- Responsible for all aspects of the facility’s operations and personnel
Qualifications:
- University degree in relevant field
- 10+ years of experience in operations management
- Experience with dry bulk commodity handling and logistics required
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Excellent problem solving skills – ability to think on your feet
- Ability to make decisions and implement plans
