Job Overview
As an Jr Tanker Broker, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the transportation of liquid bulk commodities such as crude oil, refined petroleum products, and chemicals. You will work closely with shipowners, charterers, and traders to negotiate and conclude tanker contracts. Key Responsibilities

Market Research & Analysis:
- Monitor global shipping markets, oil prices, and tanker movements.
- Keep up to date with market trends, supply-demand changes, and industry developments.

Business Development & Client Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with shipowners, charterers, and traders.
- Assist in identifying and securing new business opportunities.
- Support senior brokers in contract negotiations and customer service.

Negotiation & Deal Execution:
- Assist in fixing tankers (chartering) by supporting negotiations between shipowners and cargo charterers.
- Ensure contracts are executed smoothly and monitor voyage progress.
- Collaborate with operations teams to troubleshoot any logistical or operational issues.

Administrative & Support Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of vessel fixtures, contracts, and market data.
- Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with the preparation of charter party agreements and relevant documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Shipping, Maritime Studies, Logistics, or a related field.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commercial mindset with an ability to negotiate effectively.
