Production Manager
This individual must have an understanding of technical workings of shipboard electrical systems, strong ability to communicate both in writing and verbally to customers and employees, strong leadership skills, ability to write technical reports, experience in using standard Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel and MS Project.
1. The Production Manager will be responsible for the overall day to day operation of the company’s schedule, production and execution of projects and jobs across all departments (Service, Automation and Engineering)
2. Create, review, adjust and enforce processes, create and maintain supporting documents related to these processes in regards to Project Proposal/Quotation writing, Project execution, Parts requests, Engineering, change orders, project completion and customer final approval and acceptance
3. Provide oversight of department managers to ensure processes and procedures are being followed
4. Communicate with Department Managers to address needs and challenges
5. Communicate with Sales department regarding parts request and parts delivery in order to schedule technicians
6. Maintain Company wide Project schedule including current projects and future work
7. Review and Approve project specification documents for submittal to customer
8. Review and Approve quotations and proposals
9. Process approved proposals and communicate with Admin for job opening
11. Assign resources in Journyx software including time allocation and entry approvals
22. Lead Weekly Employee Meeting to express company goals and motivations
13. Lead Weekly Schedule meeting with all departments to discuss current projects, potential issues and future/upcoming projects
44. Ensure Quality of work is to company standards
55. Review and Process Invoicing including addressing customer questions
