Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and organized Sales Coordinator to support our Chief Operating Officer
(COO) in day-to-day enterprise sales operations. The ideal candidate will assist in lead generation,
customer follow-ups, sales event coordination, and fostering relationships within the maritime industry.

Job Type: Hourly, Full-time; 8 AM – 4:30 PM, Mon – Fri
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
 Assist the COO with daily outside sales tasks, including customer follow-ups, sales calls, and
pipeline management.
 Generate new leads through research, outbound communication, and attending industry events.
 Manage the sales event calendar, ensuring attendance at key trade shows, networking events,
and customer meetings.
 Represent Metric Marine at local maritime industry networking events and build relationships with
potential clients.
 Coordinate post-event follow-ups, ensuring prompt communication with prospects and clients.
 Maintain accurate sales records and customer data within the CRM system.
 Prepare reports, presentations, and sales materials as required.
 Support other sales-related administrative tasks as needed to optimize team efficiency.
 Provide cross-departmental administrative support when needed.
 Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
Must Haves:
 Willingness to attend local events and occasionally travel for trade shows or meetings.
 Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
 Dependable, punctual, and ready to work scheduled shifts.
 Ability to read, understand, and comply with company procedures and documentation.

Education & Experience:
 Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Sales, or related fields.
 1-3 years of experience in a sales, customer-facing, or administrative role (maritime industry
experience is a plus).
Physical Requirements:
This job requires sitting for long hours, walking, and standing; talking or hearing, both in person and by
telephone; using hands repetitively to operate standard office equipment; reaching with hands and arms;
and lifting up to 25 pounds. Vision abilities required by this job include close and distant vision, and the
ability to adjust focus.
