Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive business growth for our fuel testing services in the maritime and oil & gas industries. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategic sales plans, identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and achieving revenue targets. This role requires a strong understanding of fuel quality standards, regulatory compliance, and industry trends in maritime and energy sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to expand market share in fuel testing services.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the maritime and oil & gas sectors.
  • Generate and maintain a sales pipeline to achieve revenue targets.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and sales contracts to prospective clients.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with shipowners, vessel operators, oil & gas companies, and regulatory bodies.
  • Understand customer needs and provide tailored fuel testing solutions.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain long-term partnerships.

Market & Industry Knowledge

  • Keep up-to-date with fuel quality regulations (e.g., IMO, MARPOL, ISO standards) and industry trends.
  • Provide insights on fuel contamination, quality control, and compliance.
  • Monitor competitors and adjust sales strategies accordingly.

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work closely with technical teams and laboratory personnel to ensure service excellence.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams for lead generation and promotional activities.
  • Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to senior management.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Maritime Studies, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in fuel testing, maritime, or oil & gas industries.
  • Strong knowledge of marine fuel regulations, testing methodologies, and quality control.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel internationally as needed.
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the US, no visa or sponsorship at this time
