Technical Superintendent – Fort Lauderdale, FL
This is a great opportunity to join the team of this ship owner in south Florida. In the role of Technical Superintendent, you will be responsible for all technical related issues managing the fleet. Working with the vessel crew and operations department, you will monitor performance and ensure compliance with all company and regulatory standards. Our client is looking for someone with the following:
- University degree, maritime college preferred
- License as Marine Engineer – 2/A/E or higher preferred
- Previous shoreside experience in a similar role
- Experience working with dry bulk vessels
- Work with class societies regarding vessel surveys and inspections
- Strong organization skills
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
This is a great opportunity for a seagoing engineering officer to leverage that experience in a shoreside role.
