About the Company
Dynamic chemical tanker operator with a stellar team of professionals seeks a Vessel Operator to bring on board. This group has a unique business market and they have enjoyed much success in the recent years. They have a great commercial team and are looking to immediately add to the group.

About the Opportunity
* Manage vessel voyages in spot or chartered capacity while ensuring compliance with SMS/risk management
* Maximize optimal transit plans/speed and review charter parties to give instructions to vessel
* Arrange port and bunker services
* Work closely with chartering, demurrage and accounting departments
* All other duties as assigned by Operations Manager

Background Profile
* Maritime Academy Graduate preferred
* 2+ years commercial tanker experience (shore side or at sea), chemical experience strongly preferred
* Excellent communicator – written and verbal

* Works well in a team environment
* Multi-tasker, must be able to thrive in constant changing environment

* Must be currently authorized to work in the US, no visa or sponsorship at this time
