Vessel Operator – Florida
This is an exciting opportunity to join an established international tanker owner/operator in their commercial operations group. The environment is exciting and fast paced, and the right candidate can build a solid foundation on the commercial side of the tanker industry. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to leverage their previous time at sea on tankers or shoreside in the maritime industry. We are looking for someone with the following:
- Maritime Academy grad, marine transportation preferred
- Time at sea on tankers would be looked upon favorably either as 3/m or 2/m
- 2+ years of previous experience in a commercial capacity working in the tanker space is ideal
- Able to work in a fast paced environment with little supervision
- Works well within a team of operators and charterers, as well as external stakeholders
- Must be a quick learner who adapts quickly to the day to day challenges of a shipping company
- This is a US based position, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States, no visa or immigration assistance at this time
