Port Engineer
Port Engineer – Galveston
Our client, a global leader in the movement of oil and refined products is looking for a Port Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will oversee all preventative maintenance as well as drydock and shipyard periods. The ideal candidate has experience with both ABS and USCG regulations, maintaining proper paperwork and documentation. We are looking for someone with the following:
- BS Marine Engineering, will consider high school diploma with C/E license
- USCG licensed engineer preferred
- 5 plus years of port engineering/technical manager experience
- Prior knowledge/experience working with diesel engines and generators, specifically Caterpillar equipment
- Must be familiar and comfortable working with NS5, specifically budget, procurement and maintenance
- Must be currently authorized to work in the US, no visa or sponsorship at this time
